| I recently had the opportunity to join a grade 2 class at King Traditional as the students shared their box creations. They were challenged by their teachers to take an ordinary box that they had in their home and transform it into something new. I was blown away with their creativity and the "out of the box" thinking that they did in order to make games, toys, robots, and much more! The students cut, painted, taped, glued, and worked very hard to turn an ordinary box, that many of us would simply recycle, into something brand new. After seeing their amazing work, I now think twice before I put the boxes in our home out for recycling. The creative builders in division 7 at King Traditional have put together this video of their creations to challenge you to see what you can do with a box in your home. Don't forget to share your box creations by emailing a picture to Mrs. Manchanda so that I can share them on this site for others to also be inspired. What can you build using a box or boxes that you have in your home? Find a box (or boxes) to build something new! Use the video challenge put together by Division 7 for inspiration. |
